Bamboo Garden Hotel Beijing, a Chinese garden, unique and of classic beauty, stands in a quiet lane west of Drum Tower in the northern part of the capital city. It was once the residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, the Minister of Post of the late Qing dynasty, and it was also said to be the garden of Li Lianying, a well-known feudal eunuch in Qing dynasty, The courtyard is densely wooded with bamboo groves while rockies and fountains are embellished with varieties of exotic flowers and rare plants. "was good value, a good location and a nice environment"
Bamboo Garden Hotel Beijing has an authentic feel to it as soon as you step in, so we were surprised to find the flat screen TVs and in-room PC with fast Internet access. Room could be a bit cleaner (quite a lot of dust in ours), and the aircon doesn't really work that well. Breakfast isn't a highlight and not really recommended.
